Good Intentions, nestled in the heart of St. Petersburg, is a beacon of vegan culinary delights that transcends preconceived notions of plant-based dining. From the moment you step through its doors, the inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an extraordinary experience. Patrons rave about dishes that don’t just satisfy but surprise, with flavors vibrant enough to entice even the most committed carnivores. James Connell's enthusiastic endorsement reflects the essence of Good Intentions; every plate—from the whipped ricotta to the bucatini Bolognese—delivers on flavor and creativity. Melinda Rainey’s experiences echo this sentiment, highlighting the chef’s adeptness at combining textures and spices, particularly in the mofongo and bun cha, which showcase a unique twist on traditional flavors. Service is another highlight, with attentive staff ensuring a relaxed dining experience. Alberta Hardison and Colin Orlowski both appreciated the welcoming environment, where even non-vegan diners felt right at home. With a mid-day menu that features intriguing drink options and a dinner menu that shines with offerings like the Provoleta Burger and Tikka Tofu Sando, Good Intentions is less of a restaurant and more of an exploration of compassionate, delicious food. Overall, it stands as a must-visit for anyone craving an enlightening dining experience that’s both heartfelt and gourmet. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts of all dietary backgrounds!

Everything we had was delicious. This was my first fully vegan restaurant and I have to say - I didn't miss having meat. I felt clean and not so bogged down after my meal. This is a great environment. We had the whipped ricotta, crab cakes, Brussel sprouts, sweet potato fries and bucatini Bolognese. I couldn't pick a favorite and everything was extremely flavorful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It was my cousin's birthday who is vegan. I am not vegan. The food was good. There were definitely some interesting flavors to the food. The server was excellent. They had daily specials. We got a bottle of wine for half price. They give you plenty of food.

Im not vegan but I find myself here twice a month. I eat out maximum once a week. You don’t know you’re not eating meat, it’s that good. Also very welcoming for all sorts of folks! First time I came, I ordered the mofongo. Sooo good. It’s sweet from the plantains, spicy with the red peppers (I enjoy medium/high heat). Second time I came, bun cha. It’s a chilled dish similar to what you’d find flavor wise at a Vietnamese place. Also has some spice. The meatballs have a great umami flavor. Idk I’m just loving it here. It is a bit on the expensive side (23-32 for main) but I think proportions are fair and the effort that goes into creating a menu like this costs money and time and serious skill. Kudos to whoever owns this place and the chef who created these dishes.

Great food and service. Came around 5:20 for dinner for 2 and hardly busy. Ordered the whipped ricotta shareable and that was fantastic. For our entree, we ordered the kimchi fried rice and the gnocchi. Loved the fried rice. And the gnocchi was a large portion. Service was fantastic as they left us alone and didn’t hover or try to rush us. I could eat the fried rice all day every day.

Amazing, all vegan menu, in a very cool building. Fantastic staff. This was our 2nd visit, the 1st being over 2 years prior. The dish I returned for (lionsmane mushrooms) was just as to die for as my 1st experience. Highly recommend this place as the distinguished, fine dining establishment it was developed to be.

We had such a great experience at this vegan restaurant! Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. We tried the vegan burgers with fries and waffle fries — both were delicious and satisfying. The fresh salad was full of texture and tasted amazing with the creamy dressing and crunchy toppings. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best plant-based spots in town!

Came here after our previous brunch plans fell through and wow loved it so much. Such a gorgeous restaurant, beautifully curated, with great staff and vibes. The food was also 10/10. It is always such a treat when there is an all vegan restaurant and the food is this good. This place is a serious gem. Highly recommend!! Will stop by next time we are in St. Pete.
